  • Partner with architects, development leads, and product teams to design, document, and deliver solutions that follow Salesforce best practices, modern engineering patterns, and long-term maintainability standards.
  • Lead design sessions, technical reviews, and delivery planning to ensure solutions are well understood, appropriately sized, and implemented with strong code quality, security, performance, and reliability.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance across Salesforce development, including Apex design patterns, platform limits, bulk processing, trigger handling, asynchronous operations, and effective unit testing practices.
  • Champion automated testing practices, including end-to-end testing with tools such as Playwright, by helping teams design reliable test suites, manage test data, and integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead AI enablement across the Salesforce Product and AWS teams by identifying practical use cases, evaluating AI tools, and embedding AI-assisted practices into engineering, delivery, support, and operational workflows.
  • Drive an AI-first upskilling transformation by coaching engineers, creating reusable patterns and guardrails, and establishing learning paths that improve confidence, productivity, delivery quality, and responsible AI adoption.
  • Strengthen DevOps maturity by improving build, release, deployment, monitoring, and automation practices across Salesforce and AWS delivery workflows.
  • Support modern software development lifecycle practices, including iterative delivery, frequent release of working software, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on technical excellence.
  • Grow the team’s knowledge base by documenting decisions, sharing best practices, mentoring engineers, and promoting reusable approaches across products and platforms.
  • Stay current on Salesforce product releases, AWS capabilities, AI tooling, and emerging engineering practices, and help the team understand how those capabilities can improve business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3years of Salesforce platform experience
  • Minimum 3 years of AWS platform experience, including hands-on familiarity with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, and serverless or event-driven application patterns
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automated environment management using tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a rapidly changing work environment
  • Experience with LWC, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience
  • Front-end development experience with Lightning Design System

  • Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright) including writing and maintaining end-to-end tests, creating stable locators/page objects, and troubleshooting flaky tests
  • TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML design, JQuery, and modern front-end engineering experience; Vue or Angular experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database design and software development lifecycle
  • Engineering Manager-level experience guiding technical direction, coaching engineers, facilitating design decisions, managing delivery tradeoffs, and improving team practices across product, platform, and DevOps workstreams
