The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting Linux servers, managing virtualization environments, and ensuring system performance and security. This role requires expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards. Responsibilities

• Administer and support Linux servers (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
• Manage virtualization environments such as VMware and Linux-based virtual machines.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Configure and manage storage systems, file systems, and SAN/NAS technologies.
• Support automation efforts using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, network, and application issues.
• Maintain user accounts, permissions, and authentication services including LDAP and Active Directory integration.
• Support cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and industry best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.

Salesforce Admin

• Experience with Linux administration, including RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
• Proficiency in managing virtualization environments like VMware.
• Strong understanding of system performance monitoring and security.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of storage systems, file systems, and SAN/NAS technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, operating system, network, and application issues.
• Experience with user accounts, permissions, and authentication services including LDAP and Active Directory integration.
• Familiarity with cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity policies and industry best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Security+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in creating technical documentation and system diagrams.

This position is 100% on-site in a manufacturing environment. The candidate should be comfortable working in such settings and participating in after-hours maintenance activities and on-call support rotations as needed. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxnard, CA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
