Job description

We are looking for an experienced Epic Cadence/Prelude Analyst to support Epic configuration, application build, enhancements, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. The consultant will work closely with business users, IT, operations, and third-party systems to translate requirements into effective Epic solutions., * Perform Epic Cadence/Prelude configuration and application build while maintaining industry and client standards.

  • Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications and review them with clients.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor team members.
  • Participate in medium to large Epic software upgrades and workflow enhancements, including design, build, and testing.
  • Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure proper documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation.
  • Act as a liaison between Operations, IT, and third-party systems.
  • Provide application support for incidents reported through the help desk.
  • Provide support during go-lives and system upgrades.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Epic functionality and operational workflows.
  • Analyze workflows, data, reports, and technical issues related to Epic applications.
  • Work with trainers to develop and maintain application-specific training materials.
  • Follow organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
  • Build strong relationships with end users, customers, and business partners.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to project activities.

Requirements

  • Active/current Epic Cadence and Prelude certification - Required.
  • 4+ years of healthcare experience.
  • 4+ years of direct healthcare client/domain experience.
  • Strong experience with Hello World, Welcome, E-Signature, and RTE.
  • 4+ years of SME experience in relevant Epic applications.
  • 4+ years of knowledge of Revenue Cycle metrics, KPIs, and process improvement.
  • 2+ years of Epic experience with direct client-facing experience., * Epic Cadence/Prelude Certification.
  • Epic Welcome Certification.
  • Epic RTE Certification.
  • Hello World Badge or equivalent experience.
  • Strong SME knowledge of Epic Cadence/Prelude, Welcome, Hello World, E-Signature, and RTE.
  • Completed Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges.
  • 4+ years of knowledge of policies and procedures related to Revenue Cycle operations.
