Job description

This role owns production support and code-level fixes across a Java, Hybris, and microservices backend, working issues escalated from L2/L3 through ServiceNow. Day to day, this person investigates production issues, coordinates with product owners when a fix needs broader alignment, and resolves root causes through code changes deployed via sub-releases. Beyond break-fix work, they’ll also contribute to ongoing backend performance and feature improvements. We’re prioritizing candidates who lean stronger on the microservices side, since deep Hybris specialization tends to be too narrow for this team’s needs.

Requirements

  • Strong Java backend development

  • Microservices architecture experience

  • GraphQL experience

  • Working familiarity with Kubernetes (via AWS) - usage level, not platform admin

  • Working familiarity with Jenkins (build/deployment) - usage level

SAP Commerce Cloud - Hybris experience * Kafka experience
