Experteer Overview In this Staff Systems Engineer role, you will lead cybersecurity-focused systems engineering activities for Sentinel program support equipment in a defense context. You will work within an agile team to design, assess, and integrate cyber security controls aligned with NIST RMF and DoD guidance. You’ll apply MBSE and systems engineering practices to resolve cyber infrastructure challenges and communicate solutions to customers and leadership. This role offers impact across air, land, and space domains inside a mission-driven organization. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as a System Engineer with cybersecurity focus for support equipment * Demonstrate leadership and collaborative stakeholder management * Design, plan, implement, and assess cybersecurity controls per NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and RMF guidance * Provide systems engineering input to design, integration, and testing of support equipment * Perform advanced analyses of cybersecurity infrastructure and propose solutions * Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design, and implementation plans * Ensure product requirements align with total system solutions within constraints * Present tailored solutions to customers and senior management Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12 years of experience; or Master’s with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years * US Citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS/SAP * 2 years using IBM DOORS and Dassault CAMEO * 2 years in system architectures and MBSE * 2 years in requirements development, system integration & test, V&V * 2 years experience linking requirements to design elements, traceability, and change impact analysis * Experience with Cybersecurity Framework/CMMC or NIST 800-171/800-53 Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions * Paid Time Off
