Job description
Experteer Overview In this hybrid role, you architect and ship AI-driven automation to detect and fix cloud security misconfigurations at scale, impacting Cisco’s public cloud estate. You’ll lead a focused workstream with 2-3 engineers, shaping the engineering roadmap and delivering scalable tooling across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. You collaborate with security, IT, and cloud ops to enforce secure cloud practices and drive AI-enabled remediation. This is a chance to shape next-gen cloud security at scale in a cross-functional environment. Compensation / Benefits * Architect and implement AI-driven automation for security misconfigurations * Lead end-to-end execution of a workstream and guide 2-3 engineers * Define and drive the engineering roadmap including SDLC, CI/CD, observability and AI-assisted development * Build reusable internal tooling and services that scale across cloud platforms * Scope work, communicate trade-offs, and align partners on direction and outcomes * Mentor peers and uphold high software quality through reviews and knowledge sharing Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of engineering experience * Proficiency in Python development, backend services and APIs, data modeling, relational/NoSQL data stores * Experience integrating AI/LLM-based workflows in production using managed platforms (AWS Bedrock AgentCore, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI) or equivalent * Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) including SDKs, APIs, and cloud-native architectures * Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments * Experience with cloud-native event-driven architectures and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent) Key requirements * medical, dental and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * paid holidays and paid time off * paid parental leave * volunteer days * sick time off
