Experteer Overview In this Lead Software Engineer role, you will drive the design, development, and secure delivery of scalable technology products within Chase Digital Assistant. You will work as a core technical contributor in an agile team, shaping architecture and solving complex problems that support the firm’s objectives. You’ll lead technical evaluations, promote modern practices, and foster a culture of inclusion. Compensation / Benefits * Develop innovative software solutions, design and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine approaches * Deliver secure, high-quality production code and review others’ code * Automate remediation to improve operational stability of applications and systems * Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and applicability * Lead communities of practice to promote adoption of new technologies * Contribute to an inclusive team culture and collaborative environment Tasks * Formal training or certification in Software Engineering and 7+ years of experience * Hands-on experience across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability * Automation and continuous delivery proficiency * Advanced understanding of agile methods, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security * Experience with cloud-centric software disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, mobile) and production-grade development * Proficiency in Java 21 / Python for cloud-native builds and CI/CD * Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (preferably Apache Cassandra) * Working knowledge of messaging technologies (preferably Apache Kafka) * Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating services * Experience with a public cloud (AWS preferred) Key requirements *
