Job description

Design, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.

Working with application teams to define CI/CD pipelines from scratch.

Build observability, security controls, and platform governance best practices.

Collaborate with application, security, and architecture teams to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
-
Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
-
Mentor engineering teams on DevOps, SRE, cloud-native, and platform engineering best practices.
-
Implement Git branching and release management processes that support controlled software delivery.
-
Deploy, register, secure, and maintain GitLab runners used to execute pipeline workloads.
Requirements
-
Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with GitLab (Projects, Runners, CI/CD Pipelines) and Git source control and branching strategies

Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python and Terraform languages

Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, reliability engineering, and governance frameworks.

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders.

Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving, collaboration, and client engagement skills
-
Additional nice to have tools: JFrog Artifacotry, SonarQube and experience

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:The targeted base salary pay range for Consultant is $100,000 to $130,000 and for Senior Consultant the targeted base salary range is $130,000-$150,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
