Job description

Experteer Overview As a Software Engineer II in FOX’s Digital Product Engineering Ad Tech team, you’ll help build and evolve the web advertising platform powering monetization across FOX’s digital products. You will work on scalable web applications and SDKs that support video and display advertising, analytics, and measurement. You’ll integrate third-party ad technologies and collaborate with product, QA, and external partners to deliver reliable, high-quality features. You’ll optimize performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to engineering best practices. This role offers impact through shaping FOX’s advertising ecosystem at scale in a cross-functional, innovative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop, maintain, and enhance web advertising solutions and SDKs for FOX’s consumer-facing products * Build scalable, modular, high-performance software for video/display advertising, analytics, and measurement * Integrate third-party advertising technologies (e.g., GAM, IMA, FreeWheel) and other analytics solutions * Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and partner teams to deliver new features * Troubleshoot across browsers, devices, and environments; improve reliability and user experience * Contribute to engineering best practices, testing strategies, and continuous improvement * Develop subject matter expertise in digital advertising, video monetization, and evolving web technologies * Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors for integrations and initiatives Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience * 2+ years of professional web application development experience * Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and browser-based development * Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, browser APIs, and client-side architecture * Experience integrating third-party SDKs/APIs into production apps * Familiarity with video playback technologies and web-based media apps * Experience building modular, maintainable, testable software * Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills * Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows * Understanding of software design patterns and OOP principles * Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills * Regular on-site attendance at least 3 days/week Key requirements * medical/dental/vision * 401(k) plan * paid time off * annual discretionary bonus
