Experteer Overview In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary systems engineering team within the Product Definition IPT, guiding architecture, requirements, and verification across the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction phase. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure program objectives are met on schedule and within budget. You’ll apply MBSE and digital engineering tools to maintain models and data products, shaping the technical direction of Advanced Programs. This is a mission-focused opportunity to influence critical defense systems and mentor a high-engagement team. Compensation / Benefits * Act as deputy to the Product Definition IPT Lead and coordinate cross-IPT dependencies * Lead and manage a multi-disciplined systems engineering team through TMRR * Develop architecture, requirements, interfaces, and verification planning for the weapon system * Apply MBSE and tools like Cameo, DOORS, JIRA, Confluence to maintain models and data products * Plan and track cost, schedule, performance, and quality for work packages * Collaborate with leadership, product owners, specialists, and customers to resolve issues and support technical reviews * Develop and execute verification/validation strategies and requirements traceability * Identify and mitigate technical risks during TMRR and inform design decisions * Provide clear technical and programmatic briefings to leadership and customers * Foster an inclusive, high-engagement team through mentoring and staffing support * Ensure adherence to engineering processes and configuration management practices Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a master’s * US Citizen with active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain TS/ SAP approval * 2+ years of experience with Agile team execution and digital engineering/toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, DOORS, Cameo) Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Health & Wellness Resources
