Power Platform Solution Architect

The Senior Engineer / Power Platform Solution Architect is a lead technical authority responsible for enterprise application modernization, Microsoft Power Platform development, integration services, business process automation, and digital transformation. This role provides architectural leadership for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and enterprise solutions supporting recruiting and workforce management operations, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant technology implementations. Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead architect for all Power Platform solutions.
• Design enterprise-scale Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards.
• Lead application modernization and business process automation initiatives.
• Establish Power Platform governance, security, and architecture standards.
• Design scalable and secure integrations across enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering and development teams.
• Lead requirements analysis, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions.
• Ensure cybersecurity and compliance requirements are incorporated into all technical solutions.
• Support application sustainment, enhancement, and modernization activities.
• Develop technical roadmaps and implementation strategies.
• Support SharePoint and knowledge management initiatives.
• Collaborate with program leadership and business stakeholders to drive mission outcomes.
• Support training, adoption, and change management activities for technology initiatives., * Position requires approved hybrid support based in Washington, DC.
• Must ensure cybersecurity and compliance in all technical solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years relevant experience, OR Master’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience, OR equivalent certification and experience.
• 10+ years designing enterprise business applications.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Experience supporting Federal Government environments.
• Experience with systems integration and application modernization.
• Experience developing secure cloud-based business applications.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) OR Active AB-100 Certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or United States Coast Guard (USCG) environments.
• PL-400 Power Platform Developer certification.
• PL-200 Functional Consultant certification.
• Power BI Data Analyst certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
