Data Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, build, and oversee data architecture and solutions to capture, manage, and utilize structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. You will work within a collaborative team to support end-to-end data operations across Disney Experiences’ digital initiatives. You’ll apply automation and modern techniques, including big data and AI/ML, to keep data accurate, accessible, and actionable. This position offers a chance to contribute to high-impact guest experiences and data-driven decisions at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and oversee data architecture and solutions for capturing and utilizing data from diverse sources * Develop processes to route and store data, leveraging cloud and local storage as needed * Apply data cleansing, transformation, and automation with big data, AI, and ML techniques * Establish design standards and assurance processes for data compatibility, operability, and integrity * Collaborate to align data operations with business and product requirements * Stay current with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement * Provide escalation support and enhance existing tools when required Tasks * Minimum 3 years of related data engineering experience * Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Java, and/or VBA * Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Snowflake, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, HBase, Cassandra) * Experience across multiple development phases: design, implementation, testing * Commitment to collaborative delivery and achieving team goals * Strong troubleshooting abilities and proactive problem solving * Adaptability to Agile environments and cross-team collaboration Key requirements * health and savings benefits * educational opportunities * special extras
