Sr Data Engineer

Experteer Overview In this Senior Data Software Engineer role, you build and optimize data ingestion pipelines on AWS and Snowflake to enable analytics and reporting at scale. You design curated data views for reporting and advanced applications, and apply mathematical and programming expertise to complex data problems. You work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to shape data solutions that support enterprise-level, theme-park related initiatives. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity in a leading entertainment company with a strong data and cloud focus. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop data pipelines in AWS and Snowflake * Design and develop data views and assist with architecture decisions, deployment, and feedback * Leverage AWS services (CDK, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, EC2) to build robust data solutions * Debug and troubleshoot across a broad technical stack * Provide product ownership and business support in an enterprise theme park environment * Collaborate with Disney Parks and Resorts business partners to implement optimal technical solutions * Provide data and system analysis for feature engineering Tasks * 5+ years of data engineering experience with SQL in a Data Warehouse * Strong Python programming and OO concepts * Experience building data pipelines and complex transformations * 5+ years in AWS S3, Glue, MSK, Redshift, Spark, and related tools * Solid experience with Snowflake native objects (SnowPipe, stages, external/internal tables, stored procedures, stream & task, data masking, time travel, cloning) * Working knowledge of DBT * 5+ years software development experience in an agile environment * Production experience with DevOps tools (Terraform or CDK) * Understanding of security for data in rest and in transit * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data modeling skills * Domain knowledge of ticketing and entitlement systems * Hands-on experience with architecture, data models, eventing infrastructure Key requirements * bonus and/or long-term incentive units * medical benefits * financial benefits * competitive compensation * career growth opportunities * equal opportunity employer
