Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage transmission line projects within a multidisciplinary Power Delivery team. You will partner with clients and internal groups to shape project scope, schedule, and quality, delivering technically sound solutions for complex infrastructure. The role emphasizes leadership, coordination, and adherence to safety standards to meet industry expectations. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and execute transmission projects up to 765kV from a design/engineering perspective * Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate weekly/bi-weekly progress meetings * Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication and deliverables * Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project controls * Demonstrate and apply transmission line design expertise (PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, drawings, loading, procurement, construction specs/estimates) * Lead project teams of varying sizes and support resource planning * Travel to client offices/fields/vendors as needed * Support PMs with scope, schedule, budget development and variance management * Contribute to business development, client relationship building, and knowledge transfer through conferences and internal activities * Support department leadership in staff development, recruitment, and process improvements Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering * 7-10 years’ experience in transmission field with project leadership * Professional Engineering (PE) licensure * Understanding of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 * Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD * Proficient in English communication (written and oral) * Experience with Microsoft Office * Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies Key requirements * flexible work arrangements * remote or office-based options across the Southeast * opportunity to work on impactful projects * career growth within a growing organization
