Job description

Experteer Overview As a Computer Vision Engineer III, you design and optimize AI software and hardware for processing visual data to support satellite missions. You will lead CV solutions integration into satellite systems, drive testing, and improve performance and scalability. You’ll mentor junior engineers and stay at the forefront of CV/ML advancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Design, architect and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for satellite applications * Lead integration and deployment of CV solutions into satellite systems * Conduct rigorous testing and validation for performance, accuracy and reliability * Develop and optimize AI software/hardware for satellite use, focusing on scalability and efficiency * Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing CV systems and algorithms * Document code, processes, and methodologies for knowledge sharing * Mentor and guide junior/mid-level engineers and lead code reviews * Stay updated on CV/ML advances and apply them to projects * Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and timelines Tasks * Bachelor in related field (or equivalent experience) * Typically 5+ years of related experience * Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development principles * Experience with Agile and Scrum/Kanban methodologies * Ability to design and architect complex software systems * Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities * Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance * Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD clearance as required Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision plans * 401(k) with 150% match up to 6% * life insurance * 3 weeks paid time off
