AI Networking System/Solution Test Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Senior Software Engineer at AMD, you will help deliver high-quality, industry-leading software for next-generation computing platforms. You will validate features at the system level, harness AI tools to speed up validation, and contribute to Agile system testing. You’ll build and maintain automated test scripts, triage failures, and collaborate across teams to resolve customer issues. The role blends software engineering with hardware awareness, focusing on networking and accelerators to move AMD’s technology forward. Compensation / Benefits * Validate new software features at a system level before release * Leverage AI tools to accelerate software validation cycle * Contribute to day-to-day System Test activities in an Agile environment * Write test plans and review with stakeholders to cover scenarios * Build maintainable, high-quality automated test scripts * Review and triage test failures and verify fixes * Assist in reproducing customer-reported issues and collaborate with peer teams for resolution * Stay informed of software and hardware trends, especially networking and accelerators * Debug complex issues and collaborate with peer teams * Develop technical relationships with peers and partners Tasks * Strong experience in Networking Testing and Automation roles * Solid understanding of AI tools and how to leverage them in a large-scale distributed environment * Proficiency in writing Automation Scripts using Python * Experience with test tools, performance testing tools such as Ixia * Solid understanding of automation framework and Python proficiency * Background in Cloud, Security, Data Center technologies is an added advantage * Strong troubleshooting skills * Knowledge of operating systems, kernel mode programming, device drivers, and related technologies and architectures * Good interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to write high-quality automation code with attention to detail * Good understanding of Linux OS and hypervisor (VMware ESX/KVM) * Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source control (GitHub) and profilers is a plus Key requirements *
