Document business processes, workflows, and system integrations.
Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders.
Identify and document controls and remediation plans.
Perform root cause analysis for control gaps.
Ensure controls remain effective post-implementation.
Areas of Focus
SOX/SOC compliance
IT General Controls (ITGCs)
Application controls
Segregation of Duties (SoD)
Role and permission mapping
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Workday Focus
Map Workday workflows and system architecture.
Understand integrations between Workday, PeopleSoft, and other connected systems.
Document downstream impacts of employee lifecycle events (hire, transfer, termination).
Analyze how controls function across integrated systems.
Requirements
Ideal Background
6+ years of experience
Business Analysis in compliance, audit, or controls environments
Internal Audit or Big 4/Big 5 consulting experience preferred
Workday security, workflows, and integrations experience
IAM experience preferred

Oracle
ServiceNow

Someone who can independently determine required controls, document them, identify gaps, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation efforts while supporting a compliant Workday implementation.
