Senior Silicon Design Engineer

Experteer Overview Senior Design Engineer in the AISoC Silicon team, driving high-performance Network-on-Chip designs for AI SoCs. You will specify IP microarchitecture, implement RTL, and oversee SOC integration across architecture, verification, and physical design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specs and deliver on Microsoft’s AI and cloud ambitions. Compensation / Benefits * Specify IP microarchitecture and RTL design for AI SoC components * Perform synthesis, lint, CDC, and FEV tasks; validate SOC integration across subsystems * Collaborate with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to ensure design conformance to specs * Support tapeouts and post-silicon validation in deep sub-micron technologies * Engage with internal teams and external vendors to drive design quality and deliverables Tasks * Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year experience OR Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years experience OR Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience OR equivalent experience * Ability to meet Microsoft security screening and export control requirements * Passport-based citizenship verification and related eligibility checks for export-controlled information * Experience delivering IP or ASIC/SOC designs is preferred Key requirements *
