Solution Architect (Api & Gcp)

Experteer Overview As a Solution Architect for API & GCP, you will guide the architectural direction of the API Marketplace platform within the API Lab. You’ll shape the strategic roadmap and align technology with business priorities, working with product and engineering teams. You’ll lead cloud-native, scalable, secure solutions and explore emerging tech such as Generative AI to support objectives. Your role blends technical leadership with stakeholder influence to deliver enterprise-scale capabilities. Pay / Benefits * Own and drive architectural decisions for the API Marketplace platform * Define and guide the strategic roadmap for the Marketplace with product and engineering teams * Bridge business priorities with technical solutions for stakeholders * Shape innovative solutions and influence platform/vendor capabilities * Provide technical leadership in architecture forums and governance reviews * Lead design of cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions on GCP * Champion API design, security, scalability, performance, and integration best practices * Evaluate emerging technologies including Generative AI to support business objectives * Ensure non-functional requirements: security, resilience, scalability, sustainability, performance, governance Tasks * Strong experience in solution architecture within API-first, digital platform, marketplace, or multi-tenant environments * Deep hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Apigee * Expertise in RESTful API design, API security, versioning, lifecycle management, developer portals, API gateways, and API management platforms * Experience with API management technologies such as Apigee, Kong, IBM API Connect, or Azure API Management * Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven design, and domain-driven design * Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, CI/CD, cybersecurity, resilience, and sustainability * Strong stakeholder management and ability to present technical recommendations to business and technology audiences Key requirements *
