IT Service Manager (Workplace)

Experteer Overview In this role you will govern and optimize IT services for SFTP applications and End User Computing within a security-conscious enterprise. You’ll manage supplier relationships, ensure services meet business needs, and drive ongoing improvements to reliability, security and user experience. You will collaborate across architecture, cyber security and infrastructure to align service strategy with the wider Workplace Portfolio. This is a chance to influence how critical workplace and file-transfer services scale in a global, technology-led organisation. Pay / Benefits * Provide governance and oversight of SFTP and EUC services and suppliers * Manage full service lifecycle for SFTP applications and EUC services * Maintain performance, security and compliance standards for future enhancements * Oversee third-party supplier contracts, SLAs and performance targets * Drive continual service improvement to enhance user experience and reduce risk * Manage service risks, issues and dependencies with appropriate controls * Collaborate with architecture, cyber security, infrastructure and applications teams to support strategic services Tasks * ITSM experience in a large enterprise * Experience governing services via external suppliers and MSPs * ITIL Foundation certification and ITIL Intermediate or equivalent training * Knowledge of SFTP, MFT, secure data exchange services * Knowledge of EUC technologies: endpoints, VDI, software deployment, MDM * Experience in service performance management, supplier governance, incident, problem, change and risk management Key requirements * hybrid and flexible working * salary circa 60,000 depending on experience * career development and lifelong learning * reward programs aligned to personal and family needs * support for financial and personal wellbeing * inclusive culture and work-life balance
