Job description

Experteer Overview As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will help design and engineer enterprise-grade network infrastructure to meet security, resilience and sustainability goals while ensuring observability and guardrails. In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps, support live services and drive automation to test and promote infrastructure to production. You will lead standardisation on Cisco and Arista, contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives and interact with vendors to deliver reliable network services. This is a hands-on, collaborative role that shapes scalable, secure networks at scale in a financial services context. Pay / Benefits * Design and engineer intuitive self-service infrastructure products * Lead and drive standards for Cisco and Arista networking * Develop skills through continuous learning and development * Contribute to infrastructure as code solutions * Incorporate design thinking with users to improve the product * Provide operational support for pattern or product issues * Collaborate with vendors to deliver infrastructure services and technology * Support lifecycle management of team products and respond to customer feedback and incidents Tasks * Hands-on experience managing large enterprise networks (10,000+ devices) * Design, implementation and management of enterprise networks using Cisco and Arista * Experience with Arista Fabric with VxLAN on-prem deployment * Knowledge of layer 2/3 protocols (STP, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN) * Experience with Cisco Meraki-Dashboard, MX deployment, VPNs, security policies, MS switching, MR wireless * Experience in financial services environment on trader voice infrastructure * Ability to operate in high-pressure incidents and lead responses * Experience with multicast technologies across Cisco and Arista VxLAN platforms * Agile working style for operations and projects; ability to self-manage within a team * Strong collaborative communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders Key requirements * base pay * pension funding * benefit funding * annual leave 30 days * volunteering leave * training
