Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to innovative software projects within a fast-paced, agile team in the Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector. You will build and maintain software primarily in Java and/or Python, while applying containerized and cloud-based practices. You’ll work on new development with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS, and perform sustainment on existing baselines using C/C++. This on-site position offers opportunities for career growth and leadership as you help advance critical programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions in a mission-driven environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop new software in Java and/or Python and contribute to C/C++ maintenance when needed * Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerized deployments * Engage in cloud-based development with AWS and related tools * Participate in agile Scrum processes and CI/CD workflows * Perform sustainment engineering on existing baselines * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tools and system support * Support a fast-paced, high-impact program with growing software effort * Adhere to software lifecycles and version control practices Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science or other STEM-related degree * 2+ years of software development experience * Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI with CI-Poly clearance; US Citizenship required Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * paid holidays * paid time off (PTO)
