Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will capture and structure institutional legal expertise to enable scalable, tech-enabled service delivery across the Legal Department and related functions. You’ll translate expert judgment into reusable knowledge assets, models, and requirements that feed workflows, automation, and AI tools. You’ll partner with SMEs to preserve knowledge and support an evolving operating model. This is a chance to shape how complex legal knowledge guides decisions, processes, and technology-enabled outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Partner with SMEs across Legal, Regulatory Relations, Public Policy, Sustainability, Corporate Secretary, Corporate Security to capture decision frameworks, risk tolerances, procedures, escalation criteria, and business rules. * Translate domain expertise into structured, repeatable guidance for processes, workflows, and service delivery. * Develop and maintain decision trees, knowledge models, taxonomies, precedent repositories, playbooks, and guidance libraries. * Establish standards for documenting expertise to promote consistency, scalability, reuse, and resilience. * Identify critical institutional knowledge and ensure it is captured and preserved independent of individuals. * Create documentation outlining decision points, escalation paths, governance requirements, and risk-based operating practices. * Analyze processes to identify standardization, simplification, scalability, and improvement opportunities. * Decompose work into activities, decision points, escalation paths, business rules, and outcomes. * Design future-state workflows integrating SMEs, stakeholders, ops teams, and technology. * Develop operating procedures, service models, and process maps to support efficient execution. * Support strategic initiatives to improve productivity, quality, consistency, transparency, and stakeholder experience. * Translate policies, procedures, playbooks, and decision frameworks into structured requirements for automation and AI. * Document business requirements, decision logic, inputs/outputs, escalation criteria, testing and acceptance criteria. * Partner with tech teams to embed expertise in workflows, knowledge systems, and AI-enabled tools. * Develop knowledge assets for AI-assisted operating models and establish testing standards for outputs. Tasks * 7+ years in Knowledge Management, Legal Operations, BPM, Operational Excellence, Legal Innovation, Business Analysis, Service Design, or related discipline * Experience working with subject matter experts to document and operationalize complex expertise * Ability to translate policies and domain knowledge into structured frameworks, workflows, and operating requirements * Experience decomposing complex work into decision logic and escalation pathways * Experience designing business processes, service delivery models, workflows, or operating procedures * Strong facilitation, interviewing, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Ability to bridge business, operations, and technology teams Key requirements * 401K with company match * comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision * paid time off and sick leave * paid volunteer days * Employee Assistance Program * flexible work-life support
