Knowledge Management Analyst

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and execute a global knowledge management strategy for bp Legal, enabling faster decision-making and consistent service delivery. You’ll partner with Legal Operations and other teams to provide the tools, processes, and data needed by lawyers, while pursuing continuous improvements and cost-aware scalability. You will shape how knowledge is captured, organized, and reused, driving efficiency across global teams. This is a foundational role for scaling bp Legal and improving collaboration. Compensation / Benefits * Design and manage frameworks to organize legal knowledge (playbooks, templates, precedents) * Define KPIs to measure KM effectiveness and guide investments * Specify business requirements for KM tools (DMS, search, AI-enabled tools) * Establish governance, standards, and reuse guidelines * Identify critical knowledge at risk and implement retention strategies * Improve document management, taxonomy, metadata, and searchability Tasks * 2-5 years of KM experience within Legal Operations or equivalent information management * Experience implementing KM frameworks, content strategies, or enterprise knowledge solutions * Experience with document management systems, collaboration tools, or legal tech platforms Key requirements * flexible working options * generous parental leave * excellent retirement benefits * disability accommodation during recruitment and employment
