Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will shape AI-driven identity and security products at Okta, leading 0-to-1 AI innovations within the Auth0Lab team. You’ll own the technical direction for AI, moving ideas quickly from concept to prototype and product. You’ll work hands-on with ML/AI while collaborating across security and developer platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence how AI agents are secured and integrated into identity workflows. Compensation / Benefits * Model and solve auth and security problems using AI/ML, understanding customer challenges * Lead end-to-end model development, choosing appropriate paradigms (from scratch models to fine-tuning/LLMs) * Create and maintain evaluation and training datasets and workflows * Translate research ideas into prototypes and product recommendations * Evaluate outcomes across quality, security, latency, and cost Tasks * 8+ years in ML / applied research roles * Led multiple 0-to-1 AI or ML projects and shipped practical ML/AI systems * Strong Python, ML frameworks, and software engineering skills * Quick learner with ability to learn rapidly * Solid understanding of how computers work and applying that to hard problems * Ability to balance simplicity and flexibility while solving problems * Grok customer needs and iterate based on feedback, trends, and tech * Team collaboration and good communication skills * Nice to have: experience with security-related products Key requirements * equity where applicable * bonus * health, dental and vision insurance * 401(k) * flexible spending account * paid leave including PTO and parental leave
