Senior Software Engineer

The Restaurant Lifecycle team is focused on expanding the OpenTable offering to include millions of restaurants around the world. We have our flagship on-premise product ERB installed in over 40,000 restaurants across the world. Also we have the next-generation cloud product Guest Center with thousands of growing customers. You will responsible for upgrading, designing, building and testing the infrastructure that is the lifeblood of OpenTable. This includes looking for the breaking points in our system as it scales and reacting quickly to solve immediate problems while continuously improving our products. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full stack application and web development, with a focus on backend technologies
• Help design and build the tools and elements needed to keep tens of thousands of restaurants operating smoothly
• There will be a mixture of technologies and a mixture of frontend/backend/application development. Anything and everything necessary to get the job done.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years experience in Software Engineer with considerable exposure to working with live production systems
• 3+ years experience working with a relational database such as SQL Server or MySQL
• Experience working on growth or acquisition-focused teams (extra points if B2B focused)
• Comfort working with or integrating with new and legacy company services
• Solid knowledge of C# or C++
• Experience working within a distributed micro-services architecture
• Command of your favorite programming language (be it JS, Python, Java, C#, etc)
• Experience building an automation-focused culture, both in testing and building/deploying
