Infrastructure Engineer III

Experteer Overview In this Infrastructure Engineer III role, you’ll apply technical rigor to scale-focused initiatives within JPMorganChase’s Consumer and Community Banking group. You will work across applications and infrastructure teams to improve data and systems at scale, ensuring end-to-end monitoring and secure operation. You’ll leverage AI-assisted methods to speed monitoring, capacity analysis, and remediation workflows while validating outputs for resiliency and security. This role combines hands-on engineering with decision-making across multiple technologies, offering meaningful impact on risk, performance, and reliability. You’ll join a high-performing team shaping scalable, secure infrastructure. Compensation / Benefits * Apply technical knowledge to moderate-scope projects focusing on scalable data and systems, with end-to-end monitoring. * Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate monitoring, capacity analysis, and documentation, ensuring data sensitivity and security. * Resolve nuances and determine escalation paths; execute conventional problem-solving approaches. * Support daily capacity-process activities and collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to identify risks and remediation statuses. * Consider upstream/downstream data and systems implications; make significant decisions for multi-technology projects. * Adopt reuse-first, AI-assisted methods to detect recurring capacity risks and improve remediation workflows aligned with resiliency and security. Tasks * Formal infrastructure engineering training or certification and 3+ years of applied experience * Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance * Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure; Python or other scripting tools * Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps practices; data visualization with Tableau or similar * Experience with CMDB-like inventory tools (ServiceNow) and observability platforms (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace) * Agile practices using Jira for planning and delivery * Understanding of IT asset management, lifecycle governance, and risk controls; ability to work with risk stakeholders * Experience applying enterprise AI capabilities with validation and security/auditability awareness Key requirements *
