Job description
Experteer Overview As a Java Full Stack Engineer, you will design and deliver end-to-end Java-based applications at scale. You will work within cross-functional teams to build microservices, REST/SOAP interfaces, and secure services, leveraging Spring and cloud technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration with QA, production, and business stakeholders to address vulnerabilities, deployments, and ongoing improvements. This is a hands-on position with impact on architecture, delivery speed, and code quality in an Agile environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain full-stack Java applications using Java 21, Spring, and Spring Boot * Build and evolve microservices with Spring components and secure APIs * Create and consume REST and SOAP services, including handling JSON, WSDL, and XML * Integrate SQL databases, OAuth tokens, and security practices within code * Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and related tools; deploy on AWS/cloud servers * Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Application and Production Engineers on troubleshooting and deployments * Identify and address application vulnerabilities; perform RCAs and implement fixes * Engage in Agile processes, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders * Support and optimize application performance, monitoring, and day-to-day operations * Utilize development tools and IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse), and server technologies (JBoss, Apache Tomcat) * Ensure SOA principles are followed and contribute to architectural discussions Tasks * 5+ years of experience in Java and open source technologies * Proficient in Java 21, Spring, Spring Boot * Experience in building microservices and secure REST/SOAP APIs * Experience with JSON, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat; knowledge of WSDL * SQL database experience; ability to work with OAuth tokens in code * Familiarity with Jenkins, JIRA, Agile, Maven; CI/CI tools * Experience with cloud/server environments (AWS); strong debugging and testing mindset * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations * Problem-solving skills, RCAs, and day-to-day operational handling Key requirements * Discretionary Annual Incentive * Medical Coverage * Dental & Vision * Parental Leaves * 401K Plan * Certification & Training Reimbursement
