Job description
Experteer Overview As a Senior Engineer in CrowdStrike’s Windows Content Development team, you will design and implement detection logic across Windows OS versions to stop breaches. You’ll work on on-box sensor components (user- and kernel-mode), turning telemetry into actionable security insights and cross-platform features using OS subsystems like file, memory, process, and network activity. You’ll collaborate across teams to advance Falcon Sensor capabilities and contribute end-to-end from concept to production, in a mission-driven, AI-enabled environment. Compensation / Benefits * Design and build cross-team detection logic to stop breaches * Research malicious activity detection techniques, including reverse engineering and big-data analysis * Utilize C++, Python, and domain-specific languages to extend Falcon Sensor capabilities * Develop robust, production-ready solutions for complex problems * Own features from design through delivery to production * Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, CI/CD, and OS internals best practices * Learn continuously and promote new technologies to raise team technical IQ * Lead and collaborate within a globally distributed team, taking ownership of deliverables * Troubleshoot product issues and assist customer support when needed Tasks * 5+ years of Windows software design and development in C/C++ or equivalent low-level language * Experience or interest in reverse engineering, threat detection, malware analysis, or related security topics * Deep knowledge of Windows internals, APIs, and OS design * Team player with leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration * Experience applying AI to improve decision-making and workflows Key requirements * Market leader in compensation and equity awards * Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs * Competitive vacation and holidays * Paid parental and adoption leaves * Professional development opportunities * Employee Networks and volunteering opportunities
