Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance detection technologies for Windows, contributing to the Falcon sensor across user-mode and kernel-mode components. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate research into production-ready security capabilities that observe activity, prevent threats, and share telemetry to the cloud. You’ll tackle Windows-specific threat detection and contribute to cross-platform features leveraging OS subsystems. This is a mission-driven, AI-enabled security environment where you shape impactful, scalable sensor technology. Compensation / Benefits * Design and build detection logic used across teams to stop breaches * Research malicious activity detection techniques including reverse engineering and big-data analysis * Extend Falcon Sensor capabilities with C++, Python and related tools * Develop robust, production-level solutions from design through delivery * Apply secure coding, testing, CI/CD, and OS internals practices to sensor code * Champion new technologies, raise the team’s technical IQ, and drive quality-first outcomes * Troubleshoot issues and assist customer support when needed Tasks * 5+ years of Windows software development in C/C++ or similar low-level languages * Experience or interest in reverse engineering, threat detection or malware analysis * Deep knowledge of Windows OS internals, components, APIs * Team player with experience in global, distributed teams * Proven use of AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows Key requirements * Market leader in compensation and equity awards * Wellness programs * Generous vacation and holidays * Paid parental and adoption leaves * Professional development opportunities * Employee networks and volunteer opportunities
