Job description
Experteer Overview As a Senior Sensor Engineer in CrowdStrike’s Windows Content Development team, you will design and implement detection logic for Windows threats across supported OS versions. You will work across Windows user- and kernel-mode components to advance Falcon sensor capabilities and telemetry. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, production-ready security solutions that prevent breaches. This role offers impact on a mission-driven, AI-native platform with opportunities to shape detection research and on-box remediation. You will operate in a collaborative, quality-first environment with autonomy to own initiatives. Compensation / Benefits * Design and build cross-team detection logic to stop breaches * Research detection techniques including reverse engineering and big-data analysis * Extend Falcon Sensor capabilities using C++, Python, and domain-specific languages * Develop robust, production-ready sensor features from concept to delivery * Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices to sensor code * Drive learning and adoption of new technologies within the team * Take ownership of deliverables and lead project initiatives when needed * Troubleshoot product issues and assist customer support Tasks * 5+ years of Windows software development in C/C++ or similar low-level languages * Experience or interest in reverse engineering, threat detection, malware analysis, or security topics * Solid knowledge of Windows OS internals, components, APIs, and design * Team player with ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a global team * Proven experience using AI to improve decisions, workflows, and outcomes Key requirements * Market leader in compensation and equity awards * Wellness programs * Competitive vacation and holidays * Paid parental/adoption leaves * Professional development opportunities * Employee networks and volunteer opportunities
