Job description
- Design test setups and measurement needs based on test requirements as specified by engineers
- Maintain the lab’s data acquisition software.
- Reviewing tests and assisting test technicians in their test configurations
- Ensure tests are performed by test standards
- Review fire pump test data for accuracy, and determine if results are acceptable or if rework is required
- Assist with modernizing test facility and equipment
- Promote safe work practices
- Enforce safety rules
- Participate in meetings pertaining to product tests
- Provide lab leadership as required

- Assemble large piping arrangements using hand tools
- Bending, lifting, turning

- Working in elevated ambient and high humidity conditions
- Outdoor activity may be required

- Minimum of 40 hours per week, typically 1stshift but occasional requirements for 2nd shift work
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Microsoft Office
- LabView programming (but will train if needed)
- Experience with test and measurement equipment
- Testing background (but will train if needed)
