Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform

Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer in the Digital Nexus team, you will shape the network security platform roadmap and ensure secure integration within our technology ecosystem. You’ll translate industry best practices into actionable plans, driving high-quality delivery on schedule. You’ll mentor the Network team, provide last-tier support, and guide architecture decisions that balance security with performance. This role offers the chance to influence enterprise security across client-facing platforms and internal infrastructure. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps for network security; evaluate current architecture and improve it in line with standards * Ensure integration of technologies (Zscaler, GCP, Palo Alto) with broader IT infrastructure * Provide guidance to teams, ensure product development adherence, and meet performance and budget targets * Offer last-tier operations support, perform root-cause and preventative analyses; define system standards and configurations * Lead network environments design and oversee system installation and documentation * Provide training and guidance to Network team members * Uphold integrity and professionalism in the work environment Tasks * Five+ years of experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama management, Prisma Access/SaaS security * Google Cloud Platform engineering experience (VPC design, Cloud Armor) and Zscaler design/management (ZIA, ZPA) * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) for firewall and proxy deployments * Excellent communication; ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects; strong troubleshooting and organizational skills * Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * disability and life insurance * 401(k) plans * personal well-being benefits * paid time off and holidays
