Job description

Experteer Overview Join KPMG’s Digital Nexus team as Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform. You will shape security architecture roadmaps and ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP and Palo Alto within the tech ecosystem. You’ll deliver roadmap initiatives, provide last-tier support, and mentor the Network team while upholding high quality and integrity. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic influence to strengthen our secure cloud and network platform. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive impactful security outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps; evaluate current network security architecture and plan improvements * Ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto with the broader infrastructure * Deliver roadmap items on schedule with high quality; stay current with industry trends * Provide guidance, establish standards, and oversee product development processes; perform root cause and preventative analysis * Provide last-tier support for operations and support teams; train and guide Network team * Lead and contribute to a culture of integrity, professionalism, and teamwork Tasks * Minimum five years of experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Prisma and other vendors) * Cloud experience in Azure and GCP; deep Palo Alto firewall knowledge (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, Prisma Access * Hands-on Google Cloud Platform engineering: VPC design, Cloud Armor; Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) * Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible) for firewall and proxy deployments * Strong communication and leadership abilities; ability to manage multiple projects * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; no sponsorship available Key requirements * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * disability and life insurance * 401(k) plan * well-being benefits * paid time off
