Job description
Experteer Overview As Senior I Engineer - Technology Engineering, you will support the Remote Sites network infrastructure across NYU Langone Health, handling level 2/3 troubleshooting and ensuring high performance and availability. You will contribute to network project implementations and collaborate with Network Architects to maintain robust enterprise data networks. This role blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional coordination in a demanding healthcare environment. You’ll operate at scale, shaping reliable communications services for patient care and operations. Compensation / Benefits * Troubleshoot and repair routers, switches, and network hardware/software across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi * Maintain Enterprise Data Network documentation * Support Moves, Adds, Changes for the Medical Center * Perform routine maintenance and code upgrades for network systems * Coordinate network changes per Change Management policies * Monitor system alerts, performance, and utilization reporting * Support project implementation and equipment installations * Network problem management, reporting and escalation Tasks * 4+ years of experience * BA/BS degree or equivalent * Thorough knowledge of IP subnetting, addressing, and VLSM * Strong routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF * Experience with Cisco routers/switches (Catalyst, Nexus, 6500/6800/4500/3850/3750, 2600/2800/2900/7200/3600/3800/4400) * Experience with WANs and carriers (T1 to Gigabit Ethernet) * Experience with Network Monitoring and Reporting tools * Healthcare/education or equivalent complex organization experience * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage priorities Key requirements * comprehensive benefits and wellness package * generous time-off program * employee resources groups * holistic employee wellness program
