Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you help customers respond to security incidents at cloud scale, building threat detection and incident response capabilities. You work closely with cross-functional teams to design automated security operations and drive security innovation for customers. You will be a trusted technical resource during events and help shape scalable security solutions. This is a chance to impact security outcomes for customers and advance security practices at massive scale. Compensation / Benefits * Perform and oversee incident response operations * Become a deep technical resource that earns the trust of customer stakeholders before, during, and after a security event * Independently contribute to teams to build and deploy threat detection and incident response capabilities * Design, build, and deploy solutions to automate security operations and incident response on AWS * Contribute to internal builder projects to develop new consulting engagement models and capabilities * Develop high-quality content such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers * Innovate on behalf of customers by translating thoughts into actionable results * Mentor and invest in consultants, partners, and customers to raise the bar * On-call required Tasks * 2+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review in a non-internship context * Bachelor’s degree in STEM or 2+ years of IT Security experience * Experience in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools * Experience working as part of a CSIRT or PSIRT Key requirements * health insurance * 401(k) matching * paid time off * parential leave * sign-on payments and RSUs * flexible work hours
