Job description
The JuniorCybersecurity Engineer is expected to be able to accomplish the following:

Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.

Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
-
Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
-
Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
-
Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
-
Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
-
Plan, develop, implement and update companyās information security strategy.
-
Implement and design security counter-measures to respond in the event of a security breach.
-
Coordinate security rules and internal access authorization with IT Operations leadership and management.
-
Configure and maintain user access and accounts.
-
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures as well as industry-specific regulations.
-
Evaluate and recommend security and equipment updates as necessary.
-
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
-
Conduct periodic risk management audits to ensure company security is updated and as effective as possible.
-
May design, lead and conduct security policy training and education.
Requirements
-
Active TS/SCI +CI Polyclearance
-
HS, 8-10 years of relevant experience; BS, 2-4 years; MS 0-2 years
-
One or more of the following DoD 8570/8140 certifications:
-
ComTIA Security+ CompTIA CySA+ SSCP (ISC²), The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individualās particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
