Release of Information Specialist

We are in the process of recruiting an onsite Release of Information Specialist to join our team on location in Henderson, NV. This role focuses on the accurate and timely release of information following strict adherence to laws and organizational policies. The successful candidate will utilize electronic health record systems to manage, prepare, and distribute medical records. Responsibilities:

• Accurately process a significant amount of records in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies

• Validate requests for medical records to ensure proper authorization and compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for the preparation and distribution of requested records

• Maintain a comprehensive log of records released, ensuring confidentiality throughout the process

• Act as a point of contact for patients, providers, and third-party requestors to clarify documentation and resolve inquiries

• Uphold the highest standards of quality and accuracy throughout the record release process.

• Must have prior ROI experience, preferably high volume

• Proficient in EMR (Electronic Medical Records).

• Demonstrable knowledge of EHR Systems.

• Ability to handle and process Patient Medical Records.
