SAP BODS Technical Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead SAP BODS-related initiatives to ensure reliable data flows and timely delivery. You’ll work within a BI/BO reporting environment, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and offshore teams to meet quality standards. You’ll diagnose failures, optimize data processes, and support data integration across Oracle, HANA, and SQL Server. This is a hands-on leadership position that shapes ETL solutions in a dynamic delivery model. Compensation / Benefits * Provide fixes to eliminate root cause of failures for support and development projects * Utilize ETL SAP BODS to extract data from diverse sources into Oracle/HANA/SQL Server * Analyze requirements, evaluate designs and propose solutions in a SAP BI/BO environment * Facilitate and coordinate discussions to manage stakeholder expectations * Work in an onsite-offshore model ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables Tasks * 5+ years of experience in Business Objects Data Services * 2+ years of experience in SQL * Ability to drive the ETL (SAP BODS) support process and ensure compliance with project standards * Write SQL Script views, PL/SQL and stored procedures for Data Warehousing * Analyze performance bottlenecks (SQL Plans) and apply optimization techniques * Experience with Non-SAP Data and/or Real-Time Streaming Data * HANA experience is a big plus * Experience with Informatica/SSIS is a big plus * Experience creating technical design documents from functional specs Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package
