Systems Engineer/Prin Systems Engineer - Integration & Test (AHT)

Experteer Overview As a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, you will lead ground-element integration, test planning, and verification across factory and site environments. You’ll collaborate with software, network, and systems teams to ensure testability and requirements compliance, driving issue resolution and continuous improvements. Your work supports DT&E activities, RFCs, and documentation to shape robust space-ground interfaces. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and execute system-level integration and test procedures for Ground Element in factory and site environments * Plan, run, and coordinate dry-runs and run-for-record test executions with proper data collection * Prepare and present material for Test Readiness Reviews and Test Review Boards * Analyze test data to verify requirements, perform root-cause analysis, and drive discrepancy resolution * Contribute to RFCs and configuration/change control artifacts based on test findings * Author and maintain Ground Element documentation such as Networks Interface Planning Documents and System Test Plans * Support hardware/software/network integration, troubleshooting complex interfaces * Collaborate with software, network, and systems teams to ensure testability and verification of requirements * Participate in site installation, integration, and verification activities with extended travel as needed * Adhere to test processes and CM/quality standards while seeking continuous improvements Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 2+ years of engineering experience OR Master’s degree in STEM * Active SCI clearance at time of application and start date * Willingness to travel up to 25% (extended periods) * Strong written and oral communication skills * For Level 3: Bachelor’s with 5+ years or Master’s with 3 years or PhD with 1 year * Active SCI clearance maintenance required for program access Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions * Paid Time Off
