Natural/Adabas Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Natural/Adabas Developer with strong experience developing and maintaining complex, multi-tier enterprise applications., The developer will be responsible for evaluating business requirements, designing and implementing technical solutions, enhancing existing applications, supporting databases, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in the agency’s on-call rotation. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Natural/Adabas and SQL development experience along with a minimum of 7+ years of practical experience working with State Department of Human Services systems., 10+ years of hands-on Natural/Adabas development 10+ years of SQL development Experience with SCL in Linux Advanced experience developing and enhancing large applications using Natural Strong SQL writing and database development skills Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements Strong stakeholder/customer communication skills Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Experience with complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience with system design, analysis, coding, QA/testing, implementation, and maintenance 7+ years of practical experience with State Department of Human Services systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to participate in an on-call rotation Preferred Skills
