RPG/AS400 Developer

Experteer Overview In this role you will sustain a business-critical IBM i application set, supporting authorization, data management, transactions, and settlement operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep current operations stable while contributing to modernization efforts. You’ll apply deep RPGLE/CL/SQL experience to deliver reliable solutions and support continuous delivery in a regulated, production-oriented environment. This position offers impact through sustaining critical systems and guiding modernization initiatives. Compensation / Benefits * Provide production support and on-call coverage for Voyager Plus (OTR) applications * Enhance authorization, data management, and settlement system capabilities * Troubleshoot and resolve defects, production issues, batch failures, data issues, and integrations * Develop, test, debug, and maintain RPGLE, CL, and SQL solutions * Support MQ connectivity, file transfers, certificates, deployments, and environment stability * Lead or contribute to project delivery from requirements through implementation and post-production support * Collaborate with business and technology teams to define requirements and deliver reliable solutions * Ensure changes meet quality, security, and compliance standards * Support CI/CD, GitLab, and ARCAD-based change management for consistent releases * Maintain documentation and operational knowledge for long-term platform sustainability * Share knowledge to reduce support risk and improve resiliency Tasks * 10+ years of hands-on RPGLE/Free Format RPG programming * 10+ years of CL programming on IBM i/AS400 * Strong experience with screen and subfile development * Hands-on experience with IBM Rational Developer for i (RDi) * Production support experience in a business-critical environment * Experience using ARCAD with GitLab for change management * Strong knowledge of embedded SQL in RPGLE * GitLab experience for source control, branching, MR, and deployment workflows * Connect: Direct file transfer and operational support * Understanding of digital certificates and secure connectivity Key requirements *
