Experteer Overview In this role you will serve as a MBSE-focused cyber systems engineer supporting a new solution in a multi-level security environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission cyber requirements and ensure compliant, secure weapon systems. You’ll shape cyber architecture, guide implementation, and drive risk reduction through analysis and assessments. This is a mission-driven role at NGMS where your work enables advanced defense capabilities and system reliability. Compensation / Benefits * Provide technical decisions and guidance to enable timely, high-quality product deliveries and flight tests aligned with cyber requirements * Collaborate with program systems engineers across Integrated Product Teams to meet cyber objectives * Develop and enhance Launch and Missile Defense systems within a team of cyber engineers * Engage with US government, NGMS, and suppliers on cybersecurity practices across locations * Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (CNSSI 1253, DoD 8570, DoD 8510, AFI 17-101) * Propose cyber architecture changes with traceability to requirements * Provide cyber implementation guidance across technical teams * Develop and document standard engineering processes * Participate in engineering reviews of requirements, design, and implementation plans * Perform cyber-attack surface analysis and propose mitigations * Contribute to cybersecurity assessment activities and test planning * Support program milestones with cybersecurity plans and schedules * Identify problems and research technical solutions across disciplines in Agile/DevSecOps * Support engineering review boards * Note: role can be filled at Principal or Sr. Principal level Tasks * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (see basic vs. senior levels) * Active U.S. Citizenship and Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance * IASAE II certification or ability to obtain within six months (CISSP preferred) * Experience applying MBSE to model and derive requirements * Experience managing requirements/tools: DOORS, Cameo, JIRA * Hands-on in system requirements decomposition, architecture, design, integration and test, or V&V * Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and defense lifecycle processes * Experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments * Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * bonus potential
