Senior AI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead Sonar’s internal AI transformation, architecting autonomous AI agents and full-stack tools to automate complex business processes. You’ll build and maintain the core AI stack, oversee scalable cloud deployments, and drive governance and ethics for AI development. You’ll work across departments to identify high-impact automation opportunities while mentoring others and shaping a culture of technical excellence. Pay / Benefits * Design and develop end-to-end AI agents and full-stack applications to automate business processes * Maintain core AI tech stack including agent orchestration, vector databases, and RAG pipelines * Oversee deployment and management of scalable AI services with high availability and performance * Act as a key contributor to the AI transformation across departments * Collaborate on governance, security, and data privacy best practices for AI development * Own the full lifecycle of internal tools from backend logic to frontend interfaces * Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence in AI and automation Tasks * 5+ years in full-stack development (Python, Node.js, React) * Proven experience building autonomous AI Agents with LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar * Strong automation background (scripting, workflow engines, or RPA) * Production-grade cloud experience on major platforms (AWS recommended) * Understanding of architectures for agentic workflows (state management, tool-calling, memory) * Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and advanced prompt engineering (finetuning preferred) * Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements * Growth mindset and ongoing interest in AI research Key requirements * Pension scheme (1st pillar) * Pension scheme (2nd pillar) * 28 PTO days (Geneva region) * Public transport reimbursement (60%) * Global workforce across 20+ countries * Flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 remote)
