Experteer Overview In this role you will design and engineer advanced application-centric network services to ensure availability, resiliency, and high-performance user experiences for DIA. You’ll translate mission needs into scalable infrastructure designs and lead ongoing service improvements, from concept through transition to operations. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and validate designs in lab environments, driving modernization of IT infrastructure. This is a mission-driven, impact-focused engineering role with opportunities to shape enterprise network services. Compensation / Benefits * Engineer PKI authentication solutions and highly available traffic management systems for enterprise environments * Manage load balancing and reverse proxy configurations across platforms (Local Traffic Manager, Global Traffic Manager, Big-IP) * Design and configure secure IP address management (DNS, DHCP, NTP) for diverse workstations and servers * Create infrastructure designs aligned with program objectives from requirements and concepts of operations * Collaborate with Operations and Government stakeholders to meet availability and resiliency goals * Conduct analyses of alternatives and evaluate technologies for informed decision making * Incorporate capacity, performance, and SLA metrics into designs to optimize efficiency and user experience * Produce engineering artifacts, test cases, and documentation including CONOPS, leading small teams when needed * Explore emerging technologies, perform tradeoff analyses, and drive continual service improvement * Use Lab environments for experiments, feasibility studies, and technology investigations * Develop and execute unit and system-level test cases with full validation before deployment * Support transition to Operations via Acceptance testing and staged rollouts * Plan governance, procurement, and risk management across deployment phases * Facilitate engineering-to-operations transition for sustained performance Tasks * Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph * DOD 8140 Certification (Security+ or equivalent) * 16+ years experience with HS, 14+ with AA, 12+ with BS/BA, 10+ with MS, or 8+ with PhD * Minimum 4 years hands-on IT hardware/software solution design, integration, validation, and implementation * Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Local/Global Traffic Manager, Big-IP, Infoblox * Willingness to learn new skills and technologies Key requirements * flexible time off * robust learning resources * healthcare * wellness * retirement * continuing education
