Cloud Security Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview As a Cloud Security Consultant, you help secure clients’ Azure-based environments while advancing Deloitte’s cloud security practice. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess risks, design secure architectures, and implement Azure security controls, including AI-related protections. You’ll contribute to client engagements, deliver technical guidance, and support practice development to strengthen Microsoft cloud security services. This role offers impact across governance, identity, data protection, and resilience at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application security, platform as a service security, infrastructure security, AI security, security monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, solution design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments * Work directly with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables, including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and other practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure environments * 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments * 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 2+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 2+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI covering data protection, identity and access management, and model scanning * Ability to travel 50% on average * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disability * opportunities for professional development * travel opportunities * extensive training and certification support * collaborative culture
