Cloud Security Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role you will help secure client Azure environments and AI-enabled services through governance, identity, app and infrastructure security, and data protection. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess risks, design solutions, and guide remediation while contributing to practice development and business growth. The position sits within Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team, driving secure digital transformation for clients. You will leverage Azure and Microsoft security tooling to deliver tangible risk-reducing outcomes and scalable cloud security architecture. Compensation / Benefits * Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application security, PaaS security, infrastructure security, AI security, security monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, design solutions, implement controls, run health checks, and conduct post-implementation reviews across Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Engage with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables such as assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure environments * 2+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid clouds * 2+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 2+ years experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 2+ years experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Foundry or Azure OpenAI (data protection, IAM, model scanning) * Ability to travel ~50% and participate in diverse client environments * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities
