Cloud Security Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview As a Cloud Security Consultant on the Cloud Cyber Risk team, you help clients secure Azure-based infrastructure and AI workloads through governance, identity, and data protection. You will assess risks, design solutions, and guide remediation while contributing to practice development and client delivery. The role blends hands-on cloud security work with advisory support, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing learning. You will be part of a mission to embed security into digital transformation and enable resilient cloud deployments. Compensation / Benefits * Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, app security, PaaS security, infrastructure security, AI security, security monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, solution design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments * Work directly with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and other practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure environments * 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments * 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 2+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 2+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI covering data protection, identity and access management, and model scanning * Ability to travel 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations * opportunity to work with leading cloud security practices * professional development and mentorship
