Cloud Security Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this Cloud Security Consultant role, you help clients secure Azure-based digital transformations by delivering risk assessments, architecture guidance, and remediation plans. You’ll work on governance, identity, platform and AI security, and data protection across Azure and Microsoft environments. Your contribution spans delivery, documentation, and practice development within Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team. This is a chance to shape secure cloud solutions for diverse clients at scale and to grow your security expertise in a collaborative, client-focused setting. Compensation / Benefits * Support Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, app security, platform as a service security, infrastructure security, AI security, monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Conduct cloud security assessments, designs, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Engage with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables such as assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation docs * Contribute to business development, internal training, and practice development related to Microsoft cloud security services * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure cloud solutions and support delivery timelines * Lead small projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Maintain clear, professional communication and build lasting client relationships Tasks * 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure * 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid clouds * 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 2+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 2+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI (data protection, IAM, model scanning) * Willingness to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
