Experteer Overview In this role you help shape finance transformation by owning data architecture and integration for the Finance Operate Platform. You will partner with CFOs and finance executives to deliver scalable, secure data pipelines and governance that support risk management and financial excellence. You’ll lead cross-functional teams and translate platform requirements into actionable technical solutions, balancing near-term delivery with long-term governance. This role offers meaningful impact through data-driven modernization of finance functions and enterprise-scale improvements. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end data architecture and integration across Finance Operate Platform layers * Define and govern integration patterns and data contracts between platforms and client ERP/subledger systems * Lead platform decisions on data tools (Databricks, Alteryx, etc.) based on use case and governance * Design and oversee the data readiness pipeline for the Consulting delivery platform (ETL, validation, remediation) * Serve as primary data/integration liaison for onshore client contract and compliance discussions * Collaborate with offshore Data Engineers and Solution Architect to meet roadmap * Manage data quality, security, lineage, and regulatory compliance familiarity (SOX) * Define non-functional requirements for performance, resiliency, security, and auditability * Establish data governance frameworks and reuse-driven data quality standards * Specify BI consumption patterns, metrics, and data lineage documentation * Ensure integration designs meet security, compliance, and privacy expectations * Mentor Data Engineers and Integration Engineers; promote Agile delivery practices Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field * 7+ years of experience in data architecture, integration design, or data engineering in an enterprise environment * Hands-on experience designing end-to-end data pipelines and integration architectures * Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration concepts * Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and related data services * Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks relevant to finance operations (e.g., SOX) * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate architecture to business terms * Ability to travel ~25% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * opportunities for career development * collaborative culture * inclusive work environment * remote/onsite flexibility * accommodations for disabilities
